Basic Mounting

The Beast is based on a mask that we found for $5.99 at Big Lots.

The Beast is thrust up and out using a pneumatic cylinder, which is attached to a piece of PVC pipe.

The Beast head will be mounted on a wig head mounted on this PVC pipe.

Dennis checks the angle that the wig head has to mount on the pipe.

You don't want the jaws pointing down - the Beast is leaping up at the trick-or-treater.

The mask is mounted on a styrofoam wig stand, purchased at a beauty supply store.

A plastic grocery bag is wrapped around the styrofoam and the mask mounted on that.

This is intended to prevent the plastic of the mask from attacking the styrofoam.

Gorilla Glue was used to glue the styrofoam wig head to the PVC pipe.
