Here's what we put in there...
So I got some stuff and put together several Instant Halloween Kits. They contain various bits and pieces that you can use to:
While you are using the stuff, please keep all the boxes and packaging in the tote so that you can pack it up again afterwards.
You get one package in the kit, of whatever pattern I happened to have around.
The fog is safe to generally considered safe to breathe,
but people with asthema may want to avoid it.
The machine must heat up.
Then you press the button on the wired remote control to shoot fog.
After a while, it must stop to reheat.
When you are done with the fog machine, turn it off, unplug it, and let it cool down
before putting it away.
If it is messy, you can wipe it with a paper towel,
but don't try to clean the insides!
The fog is hot coming out of the machine (think "steam").
Don't let anybody touch the nozzle or shoot fog straight at somebody.
The fog also rises in a thick "London fog" effect.
It doesn't lie on the ground.
For more information, see
glycol fogger.
If you run out, you can use any brand of water-based fog fluid.
You can find it at Party City or Wal-Mart (in the Halloween section).
Spencer Gifts usually has it, too.
Do not let the fog machine run out of fluid.
If you run out of fluid, stop using the machine and turn it off.
Do not use water, oil, or anything other than water-based fog fluid.
Do not add anything to the fluid, like perfume, scents, flavors, or dyes.
You can get cheap incandescent "black light" bulbs.
They are really just purple light bulbs.
This is a fluorescent light made to put out black light.
Ultraviolet light comes in different wavelengths.
This is supposed to be safe,
but don't stare straight into the light for prolonged periods.
Shine the black light on things that you want to glow, not into people's eyes.
We have some
black light info
and
materials that react to black light.
We have some
general information on strobes
and tips for
haunting with strobes.
I take no responsibility for what you do with this stuff.
Please keep all packing material and repack the stuff when you are done.
