Gargoyle Modifications
Every year, we attempt to add at least one new major prop.
Having built a
graveyard,
with
fence
and
columns,
it became clear to us that the columns needed gargoyles on top.
Starting with gargoyle skins
We decided to cut to the chase and buy gargoyles
from the nice folks at
Distortions Unlimited,
model DU1136, which was selling for $90.45 (July 2002).
Normally, it is sold as a latex skin, filled with rigid plastic
foam, and painted to look like stone - ready to haunt!
Since we wanted to heavily modify the gargoyles, we placed a special order
for just the latex gargoyle skins: unpainted and without foam inside.
So, what did we do with empty latex gargoyle skins?
