Multichannel Audio Player 2 Overview

Inspired by Rick Polizzi's haunt, we have long wanted to build a multichannel audio player.

We set out to simulate this effect on a strict budget with our multichannel audio player 1 project. That project used a stereo recording to play a single sound track, routing it to different performing characters by using tones to turn performers on and off.

Since then, the price of MP-3 players has dropped to a pittance. This inspires us to abandon the concept of faking a multichannel recorder. Instead, we intend to use several cheap MP-3 players to give true multichannel recording.

NOTE: This project is under development. We will post updates as available, but until we build it we can't be sure of any details.
