Fogger Remotes

Virtually all glycol foggers have some form of remote control - you push a button on the remote, and fog shoots out of the fogger.

The remotes can be unplugged and replaced with compatible equipment, such as our X-10 remote control for Gemmy foggers or controller-driven fogger. Fogger manufacturers also offer timers that can be used to automatically shoot timed bursts of fog.

This page contains a little information on various remotes.

Cautions

Glycol foggers are available in many models. Different companies use different electrical connections to tell the fogger when to shoot fog. Some use a high voltage, some low voltage. Some use an IEC power connector, some use telephone connectors, or 1/4" photo jacks.

Caution - Only use remotes that are known to operate with your fogger. Just because a remote or timer from another company uses the same type of plug as your fogger does not mean that it will properly or safely operate that fogger!

Gemmy Timer Remote - Year 2002-2005

This is a timer remote for a Gemmy fogger. It is a plug-compatible replacement for the Gemmy Manual Remote - Year 2005.

This particular timer was purchased in 2005, but it is identical to the ones sold in 2002. It looks like the electrical connections that Gemmy uses betwen fogger and the remote control have stayed the same over many years.
